She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick B. Facius and Theresa (Krauth) of Middletown, CT.; her husband Walter Kordys; her sister Elizabeth Facius; and her daughter Kathleen Ann Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Isha Murphy (Rosanne) of Cromwell and Deborah Murphy of South Windsor; her stepson Paul Kordys of Groton; her stepgrandchildren, Christopher Kordys and Jennifer Kordys; her sister Mary Ellen Ellis of Haddam Neck; her daughters, Anne Ellis Ruzzante and Amy McDaniel; her brother Frederick Facius Jr. of Middle Haddam; her siblings' children, Mayanaura Facius, Anton Facius, Nina Bayer and Jule Facius; her grandchildren, Mariah, Adrian, Owen and Liam; her great grandchild Will; Maddie and Colin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Brooklawn Funeral Home (511 Brook St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Church (280 Brook St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067).
