He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cooney Oliver (Ann) of New Haven; his children, Rob Oliver (Adrienne Betz) of Woodbridge, John "Mac" Oliver (Elide Valerini) of Santa Barbara, CA, Patrick Oliver (Meredith Ford) of Oakland, CA and Kate Challenger (Grant) of Stowe, VT; and his grandchildren, Liam, Seamus, Maeve, Olivia, Heath, Desmond and Louisa.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. (11 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Church (29 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511).
