He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne Ward (Shonka); his parents, Bill Ward and Peggy Ward (Coughlin); and his son Bobby Ward. He is survived by: his children, Lorinda Jean Bickley (Robert) of Middlebury and Atty; his grandchildren, Billy, Jacqueline Jean, Tristan Mayes, Cat, Ryan Holub-Ward, Bobby, Anne Bickley, Jack, Kirsten, Olympia Ward Toolan and Brian; and his great grandchildren, Etive Winter and Maggie June.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home (82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck, CT 06770). A procession will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Francis Church (318 Church St, Naugatuck, CT 06770). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. James Cemetery (249 Cross St, Naugatuck, CT 06770).
