With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Timek of Killingworth, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 5, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Brian's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Brian has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his sister Denise Bak; and his parents, Conrad Timek and Dorothy Hennessey Timek. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Timek; his children, David Timek (Carey) of Wallingford, Tania Barrett (Craig) of New Hampshire and Robin Matterfis (Dave) of Madison; his brother Gary Timek (Donna) of Middletown; and his brothers-in-law, Waldemar Bak and William Seeley. He is also survived by grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Church (7 Hemlock Dr, Killingworth, CT 06419).
