It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas F. Gentile (Trumbull, Connecticut), who passed away on September 11, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Douglas has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gentile and Rose Gentile (Borrelli); and his daughter-in-law Kelsey Gentile. He is survived by: his wife Laura; his son Jason Gentile; his grandchildren, Claire and Paige; and his sister Rosalyn Florentino (Donald) of Trumbull. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
