It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Francis G. Droney of West Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Veronica Curtin Droney; his parents, James Droney and Mary Ann Droney; and his brothers, Christopher, James, John and Patrick Droney.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra Curtiss (Brian); and his grandchildren, Chelsea and Tyler. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home (34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Peter Claver (47 Pleasant St, West Hartford, CT 06107).
