We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2025, at the age of 82, Pamela Lord of Enfield, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Pamela may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Pamela touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore Lord, Jr.; and her parents, John E. Burns and Althea Burns (Williamson). She is survived by: her children, John Lord (Suzanne Bender) of California and Patty Ann Lord (Bruce Wilson) of Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Brook Ann Lord and Enzo Barbieri; and her sisters, Linda Heibler of East Windsor and Janet Wheeler of East Windsor. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels (61 S Rd, Enfield, CT 06082). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Episcopal Church (311 Broad St, Windsor, CT 06095).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Pamela's memory may be made to the Enfield Women's Club, an organization close to her heart, GFWC Woman's Club of Enfield, PO Box 80, Enfield, CT 06083, Attn: Treasurer.
