She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Acernese and Eva Acernese (Carmen Falcone Jr.); and her siblings, Louis, Rosalie and Sharon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Stehle (James) of Atlanta, GA and Louise Kearney (Kevin) of Niantic, CT.; her grandchildren, Lauren Gettys of Atlanta, GA, Brendan Kearney of Westport, CT and Dr. Christopher Kearney of Boston, MA; and her sister Theresa Roebuck. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Marello Parish (237 William St, Pittston, PA 18640). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
