He is survived by: his parents, Candelario Cantres of Chicago and Camelia Rodríguez of New Haven; his son Jaidren Cantres (Melisa Figaro) of New Haven; his granddaughters, Jelissa and Jenaiah Cantres; his sister Elizabeth "Lisa" O'Connor (José Jiménez) of West Haven; his nephews, William Rivera, Jr. and Ismael Ana Marie Rivera; his sister Maria Cantres-Palacios of New Haven; his siblings' children, Brandon, Daniel Rivera and Esther Ouquendo (Juan Oquendo) of New Haven; his great-niece June; his great-nephews, Jeremiah Oquendo and Wilson Jiménez, Jr.; and his nephew Justin Jiménez. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home (4 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
