He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Dickerman Hoyt and Elwood L. Hoyt Sr.; and his son Jonathan Dickerman Hoyt. He is survived by: his daughter Jaclyn Condon (Cameron); his grandchildren, Vivian, Evelyn Condon and Grant Howard Condon; his brother Elwood Hoyt (Sandy); his niece Penny Geyer (Gerry); his great-niece Kelsee Geyer; and his caregiver Susan Blake. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Homes - Cheshire (615 S Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at the Mount Carmel Cemetery (3801 Whitney Ave, Hamden, CT 06518).
