It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Mroz-Jacoby (New Britain, Connecticut), who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Maria leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Jacoby; her parents, Grazyna Mroz and Zdzislaw Mroz; her brother Rafal (Klaudia); her brother-in-law George Jacoby; and her sibling's children, Nadia and Geoffrey Jacoby. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (158 Broad St, New Britain, CT 06053). A burial will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (662 Burritt St, New Britain, CT 06053).
