It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Martin Harmetz (Cheshire, Connecticut), who passed away on September 15, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Howard has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Joseph and Miriam Harmetz (Rubenstein). He is survived by: his daughters, Jenifer Biafore (Robert) and Leslie Schwartz (Charles); and his grandchildren, Jacob Biafore, Justin Biafore, Alyssa Schwartz, Jared Schwartz and Eden Schwartz.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Temple Beth David (3 Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at the Cheshire Hillside Cemetery (166 Wallingford Rd, Cheshire, CT 06410).
