Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Elizabeth leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Mary and Rose St. Mary; and her husband Captain James Marcella. She is survived by: her children, Lynn (Paul Nazarko), Cindy Nutt, Lisa (Sam Barile) and Jim (Valerie Marcella). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons East Lyme Funeral Home (48 Grand St, Niantic, CT 06357). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Church (170 Rope Ferry Rd, Waterford, CT 06385).
