He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bettua and Palma Bettua (Susca). He is survived by: his wife Susan Bettua (Bergman); his children, Jill Bettua of Barkhamsted, CT, John Bettua of Tampa, FL, Scott Bettua of Ledyard, CT, Richard Bettua of New South Wales, Australia and Seth Berkowitz of Marriott Island, FL; and his siblings, Annie McCooey, Anthony Bettua, Mary Bruni, Pauline Baron, Jennie Sileo, Angela Matheson and Rose Konopaske.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cook Funeral Home (82 Litchfield St, Torrington, CT 06790). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter Church (99 E Main St, Torrington, CT 06790).
