With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine K. Vernucci of Milford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Elizabeth Urban and Martin Joseph Kotwica; her husband Nicholas Vernucci Sr.; her siblings, Rosemarie (Kresley Rothwell Dunn) and Martin Kotwica; and her son Christopher Vernucci.
She is survived by: her sons, Nicholas Vernucci Jr. (Jennifer) and Alex Vernucci (Stasha); her grandchildren, Lillian Vernucci, Nicholas Vernucci III and Elisha Vernucci (Robert Fino); and her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Cecelia Joy, Conrad and Henry.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cody-White Funeral Home (107 Broad St, Milford, CT 06460). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary Church - Milford (70 Gulf St, Milford, CT 06460).
In lieu of flowers, per Catherine's request, donations may be made to American Heart Association to honor her late husband.
