He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald H. White and Rose Irene White (Trainor); his son Douglas Bernard White; his grandsons, Drew I. Chura of Los Angeles, CA and Chase L. Chura of Prospect; his great grandchild Killian Douglas Chura; his brothers, Richard J. and Donald J. White; his siblings-in-law, Mary White, Rosemary Rupenski, William Rupenski, Pat Perezella and Thomas Guiditta; and his in-laws, Victor and Rose Michelli.
He is survived by: his wife Angela B. White (Michelli); his children, Bernadette White Chura (Tim LaFond) and Steven Martin White (Patrick Doran); his sisters-in-law, Grace White of Waterbury, Christine Guiditta of Watertown and Eleanor Perezella of Glastonbury; and his caregivers, Jose and Michelle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, life-long friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (74 W Main St, Waterbury, CT 06702). The military honors will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (2324 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705).
