He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Batayte and Donna Batayte (Brophy); his nephew Levi Lemay; and his grandfathers, Donald Brophy and Edward Batayte.
He is survived by: his significant other Melissa Waterbury; his daughter Rylie Waterbury; his stepmother Kristen Amo Wotton; his brothers, Zachary Batayte (Victoria) and Matthew Batayte; his grandmothers, Joan "Nana" Brophy and Helen Batayte; his aunts, Lee Anne (Wayne Tanguay), Alisa Brophy and Rosemary Murphy; his cousins, Brian Murphy and Carolyn; his brother Michael Lemay (Ashley); his siblings' children, Michael III, Aubrey, Raelynn and William IV; his children, Lincoln, Owen, Joseph Pizzolongo and Hayley Lemay; his granddaughter Serena; and his friends, Tatjana Case and Rachel Cousano.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the West Meadow Cemetery (679 Willard Ave, Newington, CT 06111).
