The passing of Melvin F. Buchanan of Bristol, Connecticut leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 15, 2025 at the age of 89. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Buchanan and Elsie Buchanan (Chamberlain); his siblings, Phil, Richard and Nancy Buchanan; and his son Gary Buchanan.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Buchanan (Marcotte) of Bristol; his children, Darryl Buchanan of Burlington, Dan Buchanan (Erica) of Burlington and Melanie Mills (Steve) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Sam, Regan, Katie, Grace, Abby, Betsy, Riley and Molly; and his brother John of Plainville.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church (145 Main St, Unionville, CT 06085).
