We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2025, Michael Paul Tierney of West Hartford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacqueline Tierney (Stratton) and Raymond J. Tierney Jr. Michael; his brother Jeffrey; his aunt Roberta; his uncles, Andrew Weigert and Richard Stratton; and his parents-in-law, James and Theresa Kissane.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Kissane; his son Dean Tierney (Elaine); his granddaughter Skylar; his siblings, Daniel Tierney (Jacqueline), Andrew Tierney (Ellen), Philip Tierney (Sue) and Patricia Tierney; his sister-in-law Eileen Kissane; his nephew Matthew; his godson Michael; his uncle Paul Tierney (Mary); his aunt Lillian Stratton; and his former wife Cathy Hoggatt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Peter Claver (47 Pleasant St, West Hartford, CT 06107).
