He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nikolas Alevras and Georgia Alevras; his wife Vassiliki Gionis; his children, Georgia, Ourania and Christina Alevras; his grandchildren, Christos Stravoravdis, Yiannis Politis, Vasiliki Brodeur, Stefanos Stravoravdis, Stamatina Politis and Vasileios Politis; his siblings, Zisis and Ariadni Alevras; his nephews, Nick and Alex; and his brother-in-law George Gionis. He was also cherished by three girls, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Sophia Church (200 Hempstead St, New London, CT 06320).
