It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Elliott of Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clyde and Ethel Elliott (Zabik). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Elliott (Gutierrez); his children, William M. Elliott Jr. (Jessica), Patrick Elliott and Jessica Velez (Thomas Henderson); his siblings, Robert and Linda; and his former wife Donna. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home (390 River Rd, Shelton, CT 06484). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
