He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Gentil and Florence Gentil (Karpovich); and his sister Marcia Voitek. He is survived by: his sons, George J. Gentil (Cheryl) of Oakville and Guy W. Gentil (Patricia) of Middlebury; his grandchildren, Michael Gentil (Mariah) of Thomaston, Nicholas Gentil (Marisa) of Marietta, GA, Zachary Gentil of Middlebury and Lauren Gentil of Oakville; his great grandchild Ella Gentil; and his sisters, Joan McBride of Watertown and Janice Gentil of Watertown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
