As Ruth departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ruth. Though Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Maylott, and Sarah Maylott, Sr. (Cowdell); and her brother George H. Maylott, Jr.. She is survived by: her nephews, Michael Maylott (Robbyn) of Telford, TN and Jonathan Maylott (Judy) of Somers, CT.; Trudi Barton, Rita Cheverier, Fred and Rita Stone.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church (335 Longmeadow St, Longmeadow, MA 01106). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Thompsonville Cemetery.
