He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Salvio (Santacroce) and Giuseppe Salvio; and his siblings, Elvera, Assunta, Gennaro, Ermilio, Alfredo, Rose and Gilda.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Kowalewski Salvio (Dottie); his children, Tammara S. Santavenere and Joseph L. Salvio (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Chiara Santavenere, Andrew Ermilio Salvio and Hanna Rose Salvio; and his brother-in-law Robert W. X. Martin of New Milford, CT. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Maurice Church (100 Wightman Rd, New Britain, CT 06053).
