We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2025, at the age of 93, Marie Dolores Brester of Kensington, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Allen J. Brester; her parents, George Unglaub and Theresa Unglaub (Masuhr); her son Carl Brester; and her brother Paul Unglaub.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Marques (Victor) of Cromwell and Mark Brester (Donna) of Kensington; her grandchildren, John Brester (Jennifer), Kaylin Marques and Kerry Marques; and her great grandchildren, John James Brester and Jade Brester.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin (111 Chamberlain Hwy, Berlin, CT 06037). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St Paul Church (485 Alling St, Kensington, CT 06037). A burial will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at the Rose Hill Memorial Park (580 Elm St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067).
