It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Granja of New Milford, Connecticut, who passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Mario Granja; her parents, Edith Doutney and Warren Doutney; her daughter Carollee; and her sisters, Joye and Pat.
She is survived by: her children, Richard, Christina Arnold (Richard), Rhonda and Kelly; her grandchildren, Cassandra, Jasmine (David), Caitlyn, Peter and Hunter; and her sister Sharon Bongiorno. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lillis Funeral Home (58 Bridge St, New Milford, CT 06776). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at the St. Francis Xavier Church (26 Chestnut Land Rd, New Milford, CT 06776).
