He is survived by: his spouse Suzzanne Genest (Rivera); his children, John Genest and Michele Ferraro; his grandchildren, Dante and Christian Handel; his great grandchildren, Ava and Sadie Handel; and his siblings, Leo-Paul, Marcel, Claude Genest and Pauline Genest. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home (390 River Rd, Shelton, CT 06484). A procession will be held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (50 Fairmont Pl, Shelton, CT 06484). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
