We bid farewell to Maureen A. McNamara of Trumbull, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 23, 2026. Maureen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John McNamara and Eleanor McNamara (Logan); her sister Mary Ellen Hannigan; her brother-in-law Pat Hannigan; her brother Gary McNamara; and her brother-in-law Ron Kenny.
She is survived by: her children, Michael J. O'Connell and Kelly O'Connell Shay (Wesley); her granddaughters, Colette and Sophie; and her sister Eileen Kenny.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen Church (6948 Main St, Trumbull, CT 06611). A burial will be held on Friday, June 12th 2026 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (3301 W Cheltenham Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19150).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Trumbull library to honor Maureen's love of books and reading.
