He was predeceased by: his parents, George Holyst and Elvira Holyst (Ducki); his son Christopher Holyst; and his sister Barbara Dombrowskas. He is survived by: his wife Carol Holyst (Hansen); his daughter Heather Kearney (Jason) of Nevada; his sister Elaine Holyst of Southington; and his nieces, JoAnne Dombrowskas and Donna Dombrowskas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home (411 S Main St, New Britain, CT 06051). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Dominic Church (1050 Flanders Rd, Southington, CT 06489). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (120 Smalley St, New Britain, CT 06051).
