He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Chapin and Mable Flynn Chapin; his son Charles Chapin of Washington; and his siblings, Anah Munch, Ruth Baird and Clifford Chapin.
He is survived by: his son Alan (Donna) of Newtown; his sisters, Edith Johnson and Helen Leary; and his grandchildren, Christopher Chapin of California, Corrie Duncan of New Milford, Colby Chapin of North Carolina, Leah Sivick of Washington and Brett Chapin of Redding, Connecticut..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lillis Funeral Home (58 Bridge St, New Milford, CT 06776). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Methodist Church (68 Danbury Rd, New Milford, CT 06776).
