He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Szarmach and Kathleen McCallum Szarmach; and his brothers, Donald and Shawn Szarmach. He is survived by: his wife Liz; his brothers, Joseph Szarmach (Jaime) and Edward Szarmach; his niece Britney Szarmach; his nephew Shawn Szarmach; his mother-in-law Mary Porebski; his sister-in-law Leonia Soltis (Stephen); and his nieces and nephews, Emma and Aubrey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home (2611 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
