She was predeceased by: her husband James Caprio; her parents, James and Aurelia Ballester (Garcia); her son Gary Caprio; and her sister Josephine Moore.
She is survived by: her children, James Caprio, Laura Daniels (Daniel Neal) and Nancy Splan (Shawn); her grandchildren, Carissa Daniels, Michael Daniels (Carla), Kevin Splan and Katie Splan; her great grandchildren, Nina, Luca and Mica Daniels; and her nephew Richard Moore (Theresa). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and her brother-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Riverview Funeral Home (390 River Rd, Shelton, CT 06484). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (50 Fairmont Pl, Shelton, CT 06484).
