Though Emilia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Emilia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Antunes. She is survived by: her children, Jorge Antunes and Ana Antunes of West Hartford. She is also survived by two sisters and a brother all of Portugal and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home (1084 New Britain Ave, West Hartford, CT 06110). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (50 Kane Street, Fatima Square, Hartford, CT 06106). A burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (453 Fairfield Ave, Hartford, CT 06114).
