We bid farewell to Genevieve Spata of Stratford, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 24, 2025 at the age of 83. Genevieve touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas V. Soares Sr. and Theresa Bilardo Soares. She is survived by: her husband Victor John Spata Sr.; her sons, Victor Spata Jr. (Jennifer) and Gino Spata (Erin); her grandchildren, Gabriella and Benjamin; her brother Joseph Soares (Maureen); and her sister-in-law Viola Soares. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Church (501 Naugatuck Ave, Milford, CT 06460). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Michael Cemetery (2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT 06615).
