We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2025, at the age of 82, Barbara Alice Fennell of Stratford, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas A. Fennell, Jr.; her parents, William Collins (Marie Anne LaBrecque Collins) and Stratford; her son Garrett A. Fennell; and her sister Kathleen Collins Craig (James David Craig).
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas W. Fennell, Dean A. Fennell (Kristen) and Steven T. Fennell (Lisa); her grandchildren, Barbie, Bryan, Brandon, Britni, Devin, Brooke and Stephanie; her great grandchildren, Myiah and Jace; her brother David Collins; her niece Tricia Craig Christensen (Eric); and her caregiver Syllvie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pistey Funeral Home (2611 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James Church (2070 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at the Union Cemetery (23 Temple Ct, Stratford, CT 06615).
