She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Piech and Elsie Woodward (Piech); her sisters, Patricia Piech and Rita Cyr; and her sons, Todd and Troy Schirmer.
She is survived by: her children, Loreen Reed of New Milford, Ronda Gentile (Darren) of Cleveland, NC, Audra Mudsett (Kevin) of Port Richey, FL, Richard Schirmer of Spring Hill, FL and Kyle Schirmer (Melissa) of New Milford, CT.; her siblings, Alexander Piech (Maureen) of Danbury, CT, Elsie Pehit of Danbury, CT and Doreen Klein (Ted) of Lakeland, FL.; and her close friend Hicky J. Lubus. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cornell Memorial (247 White St, Danbury, CT 06810). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter Cemetery (71 Lake Ave Ext, Danbury, CT 06810).
