With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marcel Claude Arthur Bernier of Stratford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcel Bernier and Marcelle Bernier; and his siblings, Jacqueline, Jacques, Nicole and Micheline.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his daughters, Noelle (Steve) of East Haddam and Tara (Jon) of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Reece and Josh; his nephew Doug (Marybeth); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alicia, Kelly and DJ; his niece Danielle; his nephews, Eric and Gilles; his sister-in-law Susan; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Kerry; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Catherine, Devon, Xander and Christian.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home (399 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Church (2070 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615).
