With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frederick Michael Clarke of Litchfield, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 6, 2025 at the age of 83. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Frederick leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Clarke and Lois Clarke (Lathrope); his wife Sharon Clarke (Bedwin); and his sister Isabella Vincenzo (Peck) of West Hartford, CT.. He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia (Timothy Dubret) of New Milford, CT; his grandchildren, Brittney (Wade Elsesser) of Denver, CO, Chelsea Dubret of New Milford, CT and Brandon Dubret of New Milford, CT; his cousin Jack (Connie Travers) of Warren, CT; his sisters, Judy (George Robinson) of Massachusetts and Carolynn (Roger Taggert) of Massachusetts; and his caregiver Barbara Bruns of Bantam, CT. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thurston Rowe Funeral Home (283 Torrington Rd, Litchfield, CT 06759). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bantam Cemetery (715 Bantam Rd, Bantam, CT 06750).
