He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bittman and Eileen Bittman (Lynch); his brother Thomas Bittman; his son Charles Bittman (Chuck); and his pet Coco.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen Lavelle of Year's Eve; his children, Holly, Ryan (Franny Bittman) and Kara; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Hallama, Lily and Charles Bittman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home - Ct (134 Hamilton Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church (4 Riverside Ave, Riverside, CT 06878).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Covenant Center (https://www.ccfairfield.org) in Stamford, an organization that Charlie served and cooked meals at for many years.
