He was predeceased by: his parents, German Chavez and Constantina Zavala; and his sister Mery Chávez Zavala. He is survived by: his wife Victoria Chavez; his daughters, Liliana Vallejos, Rosario Chavez, Patricia Chavez and Cristina Chavez; and his siblings, Rolando Chavez Zavala, Adolfo Chavez Zavala, Hernan Chavez Zavala, Judith Chavez Zavala, Elena Chavez Zavala and Edgar Chavez Zavala. He is also survived by grandchildren; and four beloved great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Funeraria Luz (426 E Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06608). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church (25 Sherman St, Bridgeport, CT 06608).
