He is survived by: his wife Mary Cassidy McDonald; his daughter Jacqueline Colantonio (Robert) of Northford; his sister Cathleen Butkovitch (George) of Colorado; his siblings-in-law, Ann and Tom Brancati of North Haven; and his granddaughter Cassidy Colantonio.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernadette's Church (385 Townsend Ave, New Haven, CT 06512). A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at the St Lawrence Cemetery (280 Derby Ave, West Haven, CT 06516).
