With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Terry A. McCarty (Trumbull, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 14, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Terry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Terry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sheridan and Helen Sheridan (Henn). She is survived by: her daughters, Kristen Sylvester of Norwalk and Lauren O'Brien (Dennis III) of Stamford; her grandchildren, Cameron, Nora Sylvester, Dennis IV and Sydney O'Brien; and her former husband Michael McCarty. She is also survived by sisters- and brothers-in-law, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa Church (5301 Main St, Trumbull, CT 06611).
