She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oliver McNeil and Eule McNeil; her husband John Savage; and her sisters, Bessie Stewart and Marion Torrain.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl D. Bennett of West Haven, CT and Adrienne Sheats (Eddie) of Hamden, CT.; her grandchildren, Eddie M. Sheats and Simone K. Sheats; her daughter Darlene Savage; and her brothers, Harold and Oliver McNeil.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Community Baptist Church (143 Shelton Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Beaverdale Memorial Park (90 Pine Rock Ave, New Haven, CT 06515).
