He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Iris Mellor Balcius; his son Peter John Balcius; his goddaughter Kayle Mulligan Zowine; and his sister-in-law Dana. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pre-Planning & Cremation Services (1209 Post Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Lawncroft Cemetery (1740 Black Rock Tpke, Fairfield, CT 06825).
