With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Ann Higgins of Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on August 29, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Barbara Ann is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Barbara Ann's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Higgins and Agnes Nelson Higgins. She was also cherished by children, but many loving and caring nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Commerce Hill Dougiello Funeral Home (4798 Main St, Bridgeport, CT 06606). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Park Cemetery (620 Lindley St, Bridgeport, CT 06606).
