He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Serrano and Serafina Serrano; and his siblings, Francisco Serrano Jr., Minerva Candelaria, Lillian Candelaria, Adelina Serrano, Gloria Serrano, Antonio Serrano and Olga Serrano.
He is survived by: his children, Tania Serrano (Brooklyn), Carlos Serrano Jr. and Edgar Serrano (Annette); his grandchildren, Melissa Serrano and Ethan Serrano; his wife Rosaura Serrano; and his siblings, Carmen Kohler and Benedito Serrano. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (426 E Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06608). A burial will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery (885 Boston Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06610).
