With sadness, we share the passing of Robert J. Bento of Milford, Connecticut. Robert, born on December 21, 1948, passed away on June 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Robert for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Robert’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bento and Olga Bento; and his brother-in-law Mark Kovalsky. He is survived by: his wife Monique Bento; his daughter Michelle Buccitti (Dominick Jr.); his grandchildren, Dominick III and Brianna; and his sister Amy Kovalsky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gregory Doyle Funeral Home (291 Bridgeport Ave, Milford, CT 06460).
