As Edith departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Edith may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Edith leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George Psillos; the mother of her child Marlene Cummings; and her sons, George (Elaine), Richard (Kathy) and Robert. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home Inc. (385 Main St, Farmingdale, NY 11735). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Rood Cemetery (111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590).
