As Joan Marie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joan Marie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joan Marie leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Paul D.; and her children, Janet Wohlars (Robert), Michael Clarke (LaDeine), Kevin Clarke, Kathleen Spiegel, Denise Milot (Andrew) and Connie Clarke-Elliott (Steven).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Donohue Cecere Funeral Directors (290 Post Ave, Westbury, NY 11590). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Hope RC Church (534 Broadway, Carle Place, NY 11514).
