She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John; her children, Theresa DeLauro (Charles) and Mario (Philip); her grandchildren, Robert (Heather) and Stephanie (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Artika, Sofia, Indy and Julian; and her sister Ruth Discher.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Charles J. O'shea Funeral Homes (2515 N Jerusalem Rd, East Meadow, NY 11554). A burial will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at the St. Raphael R. C. Church (600 Newbridge Rd, East Meadow, NY 11554).
